OUR TESTIMONIALS
The Needlers Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that contributes exclusively to children’s organization. “It started about fifty years ago. My father and a couple of garment industry buddies started a charity that would help unemployed garment workers’ pay their mortgage or other expenses. It was a pretty successful idea and that concept morphed into a children’s charity organization. Over the past fifty years we have raised millions of dollars for children’s charities,” details The Needlers Foundation President Scott Fishman. And in those fifty years The Needlers Foundation has contributed millions of dollars to the INN Project at NYC’s Roosevelt Hospital, the Pediatric Wing at NYU Medical Center, The Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, and The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore.

OUR TESTIMONIALS
“The loyal support of The Needlers Foundation means a great deal to us at the Mount Sinai Health System – but even more to the children whom we have been able to help thanks to their generosity. I think Dr. Berenstein would agree that this is a perfect example of the genuine partnerships that can develop between caring, groundbreaking physicians and a nonprofit organization. We look forward to continuing this important relationship for decades to come.”

“I’m so glad that Jack, Chuck and Mark were able to represent the Needlers at the event held this past Monday afternoon in the Needlers Pediatric ICU at Roosevelt. I’ve attached a picture of them with Sami, the 4-year old patient who is now returning to Ethiopia after 8 surgeries with Drs. Berenstein and Waner. At Jack’s request, I have also attached a before and an after photo of Sami, showing the results of the surgeries.”

“The incredible work The Needlers Foundation has done through its charitable giving over the past 50 years is a testament to your leadership and to the commitment of the apparel industry to give back. I particularly admire The Needlers Foundation’s focus on helping children locally and internationally. With the $25 million the Needlers has granted to pediatric causes, the foundation has targeted some of the most complex and challenging medical problems and those funds have had an immeasurable impact around the world.”

We received the Charity box of Legos, they could not have come at a better time! Thank you so very much for securing them for us at the PICU at St. Luke’s Roosevelt. The children will be thrilled to find out they can keep their creations, now instead of having to take them apart. Thanks again, hope to see you at the Needlers Gala!

"The Needlers Foundation is a unique group of dedicated individuals with a unique devotion to help the most fragile in our society: children who are unable to pay for their medical care or have to travel great distances to access it. The Needlers Foundation supports patients and their families by absorbing hospital and transportation costs and connecting them with world-class physicians who donate their time and expertise. With the support of Needlers these children are given access to invaluable social services that may not have otherwise been available to them.”

Italian Night 2015 at Pasquale Rigoletto
Saturday, April 25th, 2015
Started in 2005 Italian night was developed as an intimate evening for some of our most dedicated Needlers. Always thrown at one of New York’s premier Italian restaurants it is an evening that has quickly developed into a highlight of our events calendar growing from a small intimate party into a larger fundraising event.
“They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.”
