| The Needlers is a not-for-profit organization. We support health programs by hosting a wide range of events and promotions geared around our Annual Gala. Currently our administration overhead is only 1% -- with 99% going to our charities. Since its inception, The Needlers has awarded millions of dollars to hospitals and children’s foundations across the country— with the efforts of a small group of volunteers, bolstered by thousands of contributors. In 2004 alone, The Needlers raised over 2 million dollars in a gala affair at the Waldorf Astoria’s Grand Ballroom honoring the President of Marmaxx Group, Carol Meyrowitz. Additional galas have honored Jack Shea, Chairman of the Spiegel Catalogue: Ben Cammarata, Chairman of the TJX Company: Samuel Gerson, President of Filene’s: and Michael Balmuth, CEO of Ross Stores. All galas have been held at New York City landmarks including The Plaza and the St. Regis Hotel. We invite you to support The Needlers Foundation. Your help will, and can make difference to a needy child, a devoted family or a caring health practitioner. With your support, and the support of other caring sponsors, — lots of children, who might not otherwise realize their hopes and dreams — can learn to smile. |
