This year, we will honor Douglas P. Taliaferro, Senior Vice President Commercial Banking Group of Wells Fargo Bank.
Douglas P. Taliaferro is a Senior Vice President of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. Doug joined Wells Fargo & Co. early last year as an executive in the NYC Regional Commercial Banking Office after spending the first 29 years of his career at HSBC Bank USA. Doug has dedicated his entire career providing financing and other banking products and services to apparel and related companies in N.Y.C. At Wells, he is leading a group responsible for expanding the commercial bank’s presence in this space.
Doug received a BA degree in Economics from St. Lawrence University and an MBA in finance from Fordham University. Doug has been actively involved in numerous charitable organizations and fund raising activities including A.J.C. (honoree in 2010), ORT (honoree in 2014) and St. Lawrence University.
Doug also finds time to run the N.Y.C. marathon every year as a member of Fred’s Team to raise money for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Doug resides in New Jersey with his wife, Debra and two children, Erica and Daniel.
Many advance thanks to everyone supporting the Needler’s children by attending this gala.
You will enjoy a true Skylight Night featuring the fine dinner cuisine and dance music of our hosts 230 Fifth, while we all help raise funds to enable an underprivileged child to finally get the neurosurgery and medical care he or she so desperately needs.

Italian Night 2015 at Pasquale Rigoletto

Started in 2005 Italian night was developed as an intimate evening for some of our most dedicated Needlers. Always thrown at one of New York’s premier Italian restaurants it is an evening that has quickly developed into a highlight of our events calendar growing from a small intimate party into a larger fundraising event.
